There is still so much room for God to surprise you this year. Don’t let what hasn’t happened yet make you forget how quickly one answered prayer, one open door, or one unexpected yes can change everything.

God,

There is still so much year left. Still so many days for you to move, to answer, to open doors I haven’t even thought to knock on yet. And today I’m coming to you with expectation — not for what didn’t happen, but for everything that still can.

You don’t need twelve months to change everything. You can do in a week what felt impossible all year. You can answer prayers in September that I’ve been carrying since January. You can open doors in October that I had stopped believing would ever move. You can surprise me in November and December in ways I’m not even anticipating right now.

God, I’m not focused on what the year hasn’t brought. I’m focused on what you can still do with what’s left of it. The breakthroughs still possible. The answered prayers still coming. The doors still waiting to open. The blessings still on their way.

There is still time. And you are still faithful. And I’m still believing for everything you can do before this year closes, God. Show me how beautiful life can get.
