A Reminder From God This September

September does not require you to keep being the person you needed to become to survive the months before it. You are allowed to enter this season lighter. You are allowed to change your mind about what you want from your life. And after everything you’ve carried this year, you are allowed to believe the months ahead could hold something good.

Reminders for September –

you’re allowed to start over

you’re allowed to want things you didn’t want before

you’re allowed to walk away from what no longer fits

you’re allowed to be different than you were last year

you’re allowed to dream bigger than you have before

Jacqueline Whitney

you’re allowed to outgrow people, places, and dreams

you’re allowed to take up more space

you’re allowed to ask for what you need

you’re allowed to rest before you’ve earned it

you’re allowed to receive without explanation

you’re allowed to celebrate yourself

you’re allowed to dream bigger than you have before

you’re allowed to be hopeful again

you’re allowed to walk into this season as someone new

you’re allowed to leave the heaviness behind
