There is still enough time for something beautiful to happen this year. Don’t let what hasn’t happened yet convince you that nothing will. God can do a lot with the time that’s left.

As this year moves closer to its end, it’s easy to focus on what still hasn’t happened. The prayers I’m still waiting on. The doors I hoped would open. The hopes I carried into this year that haven’t unfolded the way I imagined.
Today, I’m choosing to remember that you are not finished. You are not limited by the calendar, and your plans for my life are not running out of time. What feels late to me has never been late to you. Help me keep believing that you are still able to surprise me, provide for me, guide me, and answer prayers in ways I never expected.
Keep me from giving up simply because the waiting has been longer than I hoped. Fill me with fresh faith for everything you still want to do, every opportunity you still want to bring, every door you still want to open, and every part of my story that is still being written.
I place the rest of this year into your hands, God. I trust that you are still working, and I receive whatever you have prepared for me with an open heart.
