Devotional Message

Our internal spiritual growth is a continuous, divine process, even when the external reality declines or fails to prove it. Despite outer circumstances being difficult—where prayers don’t seem to be answered, divine healing feels far out of reach, heavenly abundance seems to never come, or sacred love is taken away—God is always offering supernatural renewal work internally to expand our spiritual nature. And oftentimes, it is when our outward reality seems to deteriorate that He works the hardest, where His focus is first to renew us inwardly to expand our spiritual vessels before more divine light, love, and blessings flow in.

Through each difficult season, our hope often wavers. We assume that because our reality is crumbling, we are doing something wrong or that we aren’t spiritually ready to receive what we’re calling in. However, the divine paradox is that we grow stronger spiritually precisely when we face outward challenges. So anytime things are stripped from you, where nothing seems to make sense, where your struggles consume you, embrace it—for this is when God is closest to you, doing His deepest transformational work.

The command from our Lord is to maintain courage and hope when externally things look bleak. These are the sacred moments we must savor and deeply appreciate, for the work God is doing inside of us is divine preparation for the blessings that are about to flow in effortlessly. The stronger our spiritual vessel becomes through His daily renewal, the more it expands and the more it can receive from His abundance. By focusing on God, surrendering to Him, listening to His voice, and communing with Him in prayer—the process no longer becomes a heavy burden, but a holy renewal process that transforms us from the inside out, day by day, just as His Word promises.

Let’s Pray

Dear God, help me focus on internal growth and spiritual expansion rather than my external circumstances. I trust that Your daily renewal of my spirit is preparing me for the blessings that are just around the corner, even if I can’t see it in my reality yet.

I know my strength and patience will waver when I don’t see immediate results, so help me not lose heart during difficult times. Allow me to see Your eternal perspective beyond the temporary, outward struggles. Continue to expand my spiritual vessel so that I can receive and hold all that You have in store for me. Help me remember that though outwardly I may be wasting away, inwardly You are renewing me day by day, and that this divine process is preparing me for greater blessings than I can imagine. Amen.
