Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

Devotional Message
Your true life exists in the heavenly realm where Christ reigns and from that elevated perspective, earthly concerns take on their proper proportions. Setting your heart and mind on “things above” doesn’t mean ignoring earthly responsibilities but approaching them with eternal values and divine priorities.
Being “raised with Christ” means you’ve been lifted out of purely earthly thinking into spiritual reality. Through faith in Christ, you now have access to heavenly perspective—seeing through divine eyes, understanding life’s deeper purposes and recognizing the eternal significance of love, truth and service.
“Things above” include the values of God’s kingdom—love over fear, service over selfishness, eternal over temporal, grace over judgment, hope over despair. When you set your mind on these realities, they become the lens through which you interpret circumstances and make decisions.
This heavenly focus doesn’t disconnect you from earthly life but transforms how you engage with it. Work becomes service, relationships become opportunities for love, challenges become chances for spiritual growth and daily moments become encounters with divine presence. Everything takes on sacred significance when viewed from eternal perspective.
The practice of setting your mind on things above requires intentional choice and regular renewal. Through prayer, Scripture, worship and fellowship with other believers, you continuously realign your thinking with heavenly reality, allowing divine perspective to shape your earthly experience.

Dear God, help me set my heart and mind on things above, where Christ reigns. Give me heavenly perspective on earthly circumstances and help me live with eternal values. Transform my daily life through divine priorities and may I see everything through your eyes of love. Amen.
