Dear God,

Lately I am consumed by the pain I am feeling. It is unbearable, and I’m not sure whether I can see a way out of it. But your Word promises that because of your great love, I will not be consumed.

So today, I pray for your hope—give me faith that the struggles and pain I’m experiencing will one day transform into something beautiful, and that you will restore my heart. Please God, show me your compassions that are new this morning, a sign that my future will hold more joy, peace, and happiness. I commit to recognizing your fresh mercies daily, and will look for hope even in dark places. Thank you for your faithfulness that remains great even when my faith feels small. Because of your steadfast love, I know I am not consumed.
