The hard things we go through can really make it tough to see any hope or find a moment of peace. But please know that even when life feels like a storm, Christ has already won the battle for us. His peace doesn’t depend on everything going right; it’s just there for you to lean on. If you’re feeling a bit worn out today, take a breath and let’s pray this together.
Dear God,
Today, I come to you seeking peace that can only be found in you. Due to the recent troubles in my life, I have struggled to find hope within this suffering. But now I acknowledge the reality that in this world I will have trouble, yet I choose to take heart because Christ has overcome the world.
Help me to find my peace in Him rather than in changing circumstances. Strengthen my faith to see that just as Jesus overcame through the cross and resurrection, His victory transforms my experience of these troubles. Thank you for the promise that trouble doesn’t have the final say in my story, and that in Christ, I can experience peace amid the storm.
