If God Is Making You Wait, Read This

Sometimes the silence feels like rejection. The unanswered prayers, the long seasons of waiting, and the quiet “not yet” can make it seem like nothing is happening at all. But what if the delay isn’t denial—what if it’s preparation? This reflective dialogue between an angel and God explores the deeper purpose behind waiting: growth, healing, and becoming ready not just to receive what we desire, but to sustain it. It’s a reminder that timing isn’t random—it’s intentional, protective, and often more compassionate than we realize.

Angel: Is she ready for what she’s praying for?

God: Not yet. But soon.

Angel: She’s been asking for years. Why not now?

God: Because a year ago, she would’ve lost herself in it. She would’ve made it her whole identity. She would’ve loved it more than she loved herself, more than she loved me.

Angel: And now?

God: Now she’s learning her worth. She’s building a life that doesn’t revolve around what she’s waiting for. She’s healing the parts of herself that would’ve sabotaged it if I gave it to her too soon.

Angel: How much longer?

God: Just a little longer. I’m not making her wait to punish her — I’m making her wait to protect her. And to protect what I’m bringing. When she’s ready, she won’t just receive it. She’ll be able to keep it.

Angel: And she’ll understand why she had to wait?

God: She will. One day she’ll look back and thank me for not giving her what she wanted when she wanted it. Because what I’m giving her is so much better than what she was asking for.
