We have moments when we rely too much on our own strength and end up feeling drained and anxious instead of at peace. This is the time to gently return to God, choosing stillness and trust in Him rather than constant striving, and allowing His presence to renew us. Let’s pause to seek His strength in this prayer.
Dear God,
Sometimes I tend to rely on myself rather than you. But I no longer can live this way, so I’m asking you to help me embrace repentance and rest. Allow me to find time for stillness, and in moments where I get anxious, help me to trust you and cultivate deeper patience.
I confess that I often choose striving over stillness, and busyness over being with you. But I trust that your way overpowers my human solutions, and that you will provide salvation through rest instead of me striving. Thank you for your patient invitation to find my strength in you.
Amen.
