Our situations in life can sometimes leave us feeling broken, overwhelmed, and unsure of how healing will ever come. Always remember that even in that pain, God is close to you and gently working to restore your heart. Join me in this prayer.
Dear God,
As my heart breaks today and I sit in this emotional pain, please offer Your healing touch to mend the fractures within me. Allow me to feel the brokenness, while also receiving Your compassionate care and understanding, helping me to trust in Your healing process and the timing of it.
I know that the pain I’m feeling is all happening for me, that it is instilling a deeper trust in myself and allowing me to gain even more strength. But as I waver each moment, please deepen my belief that healing is possible and is occurring, even when it doesn’t feel like it. Help me remember that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You personally bind up my wounds.
