If you’re in the waiting room right now, don’t lose heart. Don’t give up. Don’t assume silence means absence. God hasn’t forgotten what you’re praying for. He’s just working in ways you can’t track yet. And when his timing finally meets your need, you’ll understand why it couldn’t have happened any sooner. Trust the wait. It’s doing something in you that the answer alone never could.
God,
Waiting is one of the hardest places to stay. It asks me to hold hope without answers and to trust you without a timeline. I don’t always know what to do in this space, but I want my heart to stay open to you, even here.
Help me to remember that you haven’t overlooked what I am praying for. Remind me that what feels slow to me is still steady in your hands. Teach me to release the urge to rush what isn’t ready and to rest in the truth that you move with intention, not delay.
Strengthen me on the days when discouragement comes quickly.
Give me peace that isn’t tied to visible progress and faith that doesn’t fade when things take time. When doubt rises, remind me of the moments where your timing turned out to be protection.
I place the outcome, and the timing, at your feet, God. Help me wait without fear. Help me trust without forcing. And help me stay hopeful without trying to control the story.
I trust you with what I cannot see, God Amen.
