He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
There is a constant desire tugging at our hearts each day, leading us to glance at the heavens and honestly ask, ‘God, when is it my time?’ The people around us are basking in the desires we want—our friends are experiencing new levels in their relationships, our peers are advancing in their careers, our acquaintances are overflowing in financial freedom. Yet here we are, not quite there yet, beginning to lose hope and faith on whether it’ll ever unfold for us too. This longing reveals one of God’s core principles—blessings manifest not on our timeline, but in His perfect timing.
Even when things don’t make sense or our reality feels far from beautiful, we must trust God’s divine timing for every aspect of our lives. When we shift our perspective and see our lives through God’s eternal lens rather than our limited human view, we develop a deeper understanding of the waiting period’s purpose. What if God is still preparing your soulmate to become the partner your soul truly needs? What if He’s preparing your heart to fully hold the love you’re calling for? What if your dream job doesn’t yet exist, and God is working through others to create that opportunity? What if you’re not healed yet because there are people you must meet on your healing journey—or lessons you need to learn that you’ll someday teach others?
When we see from His perspective, we understand there’s a grand tapestry where we’re all interconnected and woven together. The moment miracles come to fruition is always perfect—never late, never too soon—beautifully, right on time. Even when we cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end, we can find peace knowing He’s orchestrating events for our highest good. There will come a moment when you’ll understand why your blessings couldn’t have happened a second sooner. Perhaps it was in the waiting that you gained wisdom, experienced breakthroughs, or met people who forever changed your life. He has made everything beautiful in its time, and everything always was, and is, perfect in His timing.
