Our purpose in life can sometimes feel unclear, especially during seasons when comparison or doubt starts creeping into our hearts. We should gently remind ourselves that God has given each of us unique gifts for a reason, and those gifts were never meant to be measured against anyone else’s. Pause for a moment and pray this with me.

Dear God,

Thank you for the spiritual gifts you have graciously given me. Please give me wisdom today to identify, develop and share these gifts, so that I can humbly serve others rather than seeking personal recognition. As I move through the day, allow my intention to be pure and energetically aligned with your will—let me be generous, kind, optimistic, loving and nurturing.

I also ask that you give me opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the world around me today—place me in front of people who I can share your message with, guide me to individuals who need help, and take me to environments where I can use my voice in an impactful way. As I use my gifts today, also give me grace to celebrate other people’s gifts without envy or comparison, knowing that we are all contributing to your highest good.
