Sometimes the path that feels unexpected is the very one that returns you to yourself.
New Voicemail from God — 2:03 AM
I know you’ve been grieving the version of your life you thought you would have by now.
Some versions of your future were created from wounds you had not healed yet.
– Jacqueline Whitney
The relationship you thought would stay. The timeline you imagined.
The version of yourself you expected to become by this age. You keep looking at your life and quietly measuring it against what you thought it would be, and part of you feels embarrassed that things unfolded differently.
But you need to understand that your life is not behind just because it took a different shape than you expected.
Some dreams had to fall apart because they were built from survival, not alignment. Some versions of your future were created from wounds you had not healed yet. You were asking for things that matched who you were in pain, not who you were becoming.
I know there are still moments where you mourn what could have been.

That’s human. But one day you’re going to look back and realize that losing certain paths was what finally allowed you to find yourself.
You think your story is late because you keep comparing it to timelines that were never designed for your soul.
But your life is not late. It is unfolding with intention.
