So much of life gets postponed because we’re waiting for a version of ourselves that feels completely ready.
God: You keep waiting to feel ready.
You: I just want to make sure I’m prepared.
The discomfort you’re feeling isn’t proof that you’re not ready.

God: You won’t ever feel fully ready for what I’m calling you into. That’s not how this works. Ready doesn’t arrive before the moment you have to step into it. It arrives in the middle of you doing it, after you’ve already decided to trust me.
You: What if I’m not actually equipped for it?
God: I don’t call you into things you can’t handle. I call you into things that require me. That’s the whole point. The discomfort you’re feeling isn’t proof that you’re not ready. It’s proof that this is going to grow you.
You: I’m just scared.
God: I know. But fear and readiness can exist in the same moment. Some of the most important things you’ll ever do, you’ll do scared. The version of you who feels completely confident before she steps into something doesn’t actually exist. She’s a story you’ve been telling yourself to justify staying where you are.

You: So I just go?
God: You just go. With shaky hands. With more questions than answers. With me right beside you. That’s how readiness actually works. It’s not a feeling you wait for. It’s a step you take.
