This is not as good as it gets. This is as hard as it’s been. And there’s a difference.

You’ve been in this season so long that you’ve started to mistake it for permanent. You’ve been here long enough that your mind is starting to convince you that nothing else is coming. That what you have now is the final version.

But this isn’t the final version. This is the in-between. You’re standing in the middle of a chapter, holding the heaviness of the present, looking at it like it’s the rest of your story. It isn’t. What you’re feeling right now is real, but it isn’t forever.

I didn’t bring you through everything you’ve already survived just to leave you here. I didn’t develop everything I’ve been developing in you for a story that ends with you stuck in the part that hurts the most. The growth has a purpose. The waiting has a purpose. The hard season you’re in has a purpose, and the purpose isn’t to keep you in it.
