At some point, faith asks us to stop preparing and start trusting.

Angel: She keeps asking for more time.

God: She doesn’t need more time. She needs more trust.

The thing she keeps waiting for can’t be earned by understanding it better.

Angel: She thinks she’ll be ready if you just give her a little longer to figure it out.

God: She’s been trying to figure it out for years. Time isn’t what she’s missing. The thing she keeps waiting for can’t be earned by understanding it better. It can only be received by trusting me with it.

Angel: Does she know that?

God: Part of her does. But the other part keeps believing that if she just thinks about it long enough, prepares enough, plans enough, she’ll feel ready to move. She won’t. The kind of ready she’s looking for doesn’t come from time. It comes from trusting me to handle what she can’t.

Angel: When does she stop waiting?

God: When she realizes that the time she keeps asking for is the same thing as not trusting me. The moment she lets that go, everything shifts. Not because the circumstances changed, but because she did.
