God Has More Waiting Than What You Lost

Sometimes the hardest part of faith is believing that God is still opening doors you haven’t noticed because you’re grieving the one that closed.

Angel: She thinks the door is closed.

God: I opened three others.

Angel: She hasn’t looked yet.

God: She’s been so focused on the one that closed that she hasn’t turned around. She’s convinced that door was the only one. She’s mourning it like it took all her options with it.

Angel: Will she see the new ones?

I keep placing things in her peripheral vision

God: She will. When she stops staring at what didn’t work out. When she stops asking me to reopen what I closed. When she gets tired enough of that door to finally turn her head.

Angel: What if she gives up before she sees them?

God: She won’t. I keep making the new doors more visible. I keep placing things in her peripheral vision. I keep sending small confirmations that something else is happening. She’ll turn around eventually.

Angel: And when she does?

God: She’ll realize the door she was mourning was the smallest one I had for her.
