There is so much peace in beginning the day by remembering that you don’t have to carry it by yourself. Before you carry today’s responsibilities, place them in God’s hands.

God,

Before this day unfolds, I want to place it in your hands. I don’t know what today will bring, what conversations ‘ll have, what challenges I’ll face, or what prayers will be answered. But I know that none of it will surprise you.

Go before me today. Give me wisdom where I need direction, peace where I feel anxious, and patience when things don’t go according to my plans. Help me trust you with what I cannot control instead of carrying it myself.

Whatever this day holds, remind me that I don’t have to hold it alone. Let me walk through today with confidence, knowing you are with me every step of the way.

I leave this day in your hands, God.
