The heavy moments in our lives can feel overwhelming, especially when grief makes it hard to see anything beyond the pain. This moment can also gently remind us that God has promised a future where every tear will be wiped away, and healing will come fully in His time. Come into prayer with me.

Dear God,

Everything in my life feels incredibly heavy. My heart is grieving, the tears are flowing, and right now, I can’t see a way out of this pain. But I am grateful to have you—knowing your eternal promise that one day you will wipe every tear from my eyes and there will be no more mourning, crying, or pain.

As I experience this heaviness right now, please give me hope—that the pain I’m currently feeling will soon dissipate, and I will feel alive and full of joy someday soon. If you can, I ask that you allow me to experience glimpses of this future reality now—to see what a life free of this pain will look and feel like when the old order of things has passed away.

I trust your ultimate plan for complete restoration, and thank you now for the promise that you will personally tend to my wounds and wipe away every tear.
