For anyone who needs God to come through right now: may this be the prayer that meets you when you don’t have the words for your own. May he remind you that even the situation keeping you awake is still within his hands.
God,
There are people reading this who are desperate right now. Not in a distant, theoretical way, but in the way that keeps you up at night, that makes you wonder how much longer you can hold on. This prayer is for all of them. And if I’m being honest, it’s for me too.
We need you to come through. Not eventually. Right now. In the finances that are at a breaking point. In the health situation that has everyone scared. In the relationship that’s hanging by a thread. In the prayer that’s been prayed so many times the words feel worn out but the need is still just as real.
God, meet every person who reads this exactly where they are today. See the need they haven’t told anyone about. Hear the prayer they’re too exhausted to pray out loud. Touch the situation that looks too far gone for anything to change. And remind them that you are still the God who makes ways where there are none.
Come through for us, God. We need you.
