A Prayer For Knowing Your Worth When The World Has Made You Doubt It

This prayer is for anyone who needs to be reminded that their worth was never up for debate. God decided that long before the world got a chance to weigh in.

God, I’m asking you to remind me of who I am. Because the world has been loud, and I’II be honest — some of it got in. The rejection, the comparison, the moments where I was overlooked or undervalued or made to feel like I was too much and somehow still not enough. I’ve let those things speak over me longer than I should have.

Silence every voice that has contradicted what you say about me. Uproot every lie I absorbed before I knew it was a lie.

Where I have built my identity on the opinions of people who were never qualified to define me, dismantle that foundation and rebuild it on the truth of who you created me to be.

Let me walk into every room knowing my value isn’t determined by who acknowledges it. Let me stop shrinking to make others comfortable and stop auditioning for spaces that should have welcomed me as I am. Give me a confidence that isn’t arrogance — just a quiet, settled knowing that I am worthy of the life, the love, and the opportunities I’ve been afraid to ask for.

You made me on purpose, God. And I’m asking you to help me live like I actually believe that.

Amen.
