Some of the most meaningful chapters of your life will arrive later than you expected. Not because you failed, but because you were still being shaped into the person who could truly receive them.

God,

You know the hopes I have quietly built up in my heart — the timelines l imagined, the moments I prayed would have happened by now, the expectations I’ve carried for how my life would unfold. Sometimes it’s hard not to measure where I am against where I thought I would be.

Today I am asking for the courage to release that timeline to you. Help me loosen my grip on the plans I’ve been trying to force. Remind me that delays are not abandonment and that waiting does not mean that you have forgotten me. Where my impatience grows loud, let your peace grow louder.

Teach me to trust the life you are shaping for me, even when it doesn’t match the schedule I created in my own mind. Give me patience where I feel rushed, confidence where I feel behind, and faith where I feel uncertain.

God, I place my timing into your hands. Not because it’s easy — but because I believe your plans are wiser than my expectations.
