There are times when faith feels weak and unstable, especially when emotions and expectations don’t seem to match what we’re praying for. We just need to believe that God’s faithfulness does not change even when ours does. Come into prayer with me.

Dear God,

I am grateful that Your faithfulness doesn’t depend on my performance, because as of late, my faith feels weak. I’m struggling to maintain certainty, as recently my emotions are all over the place and I’ve been experiencing false hope in all of my desires ever coming to fruition. But I know that You remain constant, even when I’m doubting.

So help me rest in Your faithful character today rather than my spiritual consistency, while also helping me let go of trying to be spiritually perfect. I know that each time my faith falters, I always come back stronger and more trusting—so give me the strength to return to my faith, knowing You have never abandoned me.

Help me live by the truth today that Your love isn’t based on my ability to maintain perfect faith, but on Your unchanging nature that cannot disown itself. Thank You that even when I am faithless, You remain faithful, and that this is who You are at Your core.
