There is so much peace in realizing you don’t have to make the perfect decision. You just have to stay close enough to God to be redirected.
God,
I don’t know which way to go. I’ve been sitting with this decision, this season, this crossroads — and no matter how much I think it through, I can’t find the clarity I need. I’ve prayed about it. I’ve waited on it. I’ve tried to figure it out on my own and I keep coming back to the same place.
So I’m asking you to show me the way. Not a vague feeling I have to interpret or a nudge I might be imagining. A direction I can actually trust. Peace that settles instead of doubt. A path that becomes clear enough for me to take the next step without second-guessing everything.
God, order my steps. Go before me into what I can’t see yet. Close what isn’t mine to walk through and open what is. If l’ve been moving in the wrong direction, redirect me gently but clearly. If I’ve been standing still out of fear, give me the courage to move. I don’t need to see the whole road. I just need to know which way to go next.
Show me, God. I’m listening.
Amen.
