Before you rush into what’s next, take a moment to thank God for how far he’s already brought you. Some of this month’s greatest miracles were simply the strength to keep going, the grace to make it through, and his faithfulness in every day you thought you wouldn’t.
God,
Before July closes, I want to stop and thank you. Not for everything being perfect, because it wasn’t. Not for every prayer being answered, because some still aren’t. But for carrying me through every single day of this month, even the ones I thought would break
Thank you for the strength you gave me on the days I had none left. For the peace that showed up when the anxiety should have won. For the provision that came through when I couldn’t see how it would. For the moments where I felt you near even when everything around me felt uncertain.
July wasn’t easy. There were days I wanted to give up, days I questioned your timing, days the weight felt heavier than I could carry. But I made it through every single one. And that wasn’t me, God. That was you.
As this month closes, I’m choosing gratitude over disappointment. Gratitude for what you did, even while I’m still trusting you for what hasn’t happened yet. Thank you for July, God. Every hard day and every grace-filled moment of it.
Amen.
