A Prayer Of Endurance For When The Road Feels Long

God, I thank you for the strength to walk my body out of bed and to try my best every single day. Even when others don’t understand what my best looks like, you see me, and you know my heart.

Thank you for giving me the courage to keep going, even when I don’t feel strong. Thank you for helping me move on when it feels impossible. Thank you for giving me the strength to forgive the person I never thought I could forgive. Thank you for guiding me as I let go of the thing I never dreamed I would have to give up.

I am grateful that you have made me brave. That you have given me the ability to love, even after love has broken me. That you have carried me through every moment when I thought I couldn’t go on. Keep me going, Lord. Keep me steady.

Thank you for giving me the courage to open up and speak about what once felt impossible to say. For giving me the strength to reach out for help when I need it. For helping me get myself to the places I need to be, even when I don’t have the energy.

God, I trust you as I step into the unknown. Even when things don’t make sense, even when I am afraid, I know you are with me. Thank you for making me strong enough to fight for myself and for what I believe is true. Thank you for the peace you promise me.

I know I am going to get through this. I always get through what I go through, because you are with me.

Amen.
