Having the thought of being chosen by God before anything even began can feel overwhelming in a beautiful and humbling way. Just when we realize that His love for us isn’t based on what we’ve done, it becomes easier to grow into the life and purpose He has already prepared for us. Let’s lift our gratitude and trust to God in this prayer.

Dear God,

I am humbled to know that you intentionally chose me before the creation of the world. In full honesty, my mind can’t fully grasp how you pre-planned and pre-loved me—it is wonderful yet difficult for me to truly comprehend.

I thank you that your choice of me wasn’t based on my merit but on your sovereign love. Help me grow in holiness, to evolve from my current state to become more holy and blameless in your sight. Help me live as one who has been divinely chosen, fulfilling the purpose you designed for me before time began. Thank you for the security that comes from knowing my identity is rooted in your eternal decision to love me.
