God can restore what has been lost. He can breathe hope back into the parts of you that feel silent. You don’t have to keep living like nothing will ever change. Ask him to restore your hope today.
God,
I’ve lost my hope. I don’t know when it slipped away, but somewhere between the disappointments, the unanswered prayers, and the waiting that never seems to end — I stopped believing things could get better. I stopped expecting good things to happen. I stopped hoping because hoping hurt too much when nothing changed.
But today, l’m asking you to restore what’s been lost. Restore the hope that used to fuel my faith. Restore the belief that you’re still working even when I can’t see it. Restore the expectation that something good is coming, that my story isn’t over, that the best parts of my life aren’t behind me.
God, I don’t want to live without hope. I don’t want to go through the motions, surviving instead of believing. So breathe life back into the places that feel dead. Remind me of the times you came through before. Show me evidence that you’re still faithful, still good, still working on my behalf.
Let hope rise in me again — not because my circumstances have changed, but because you never have. Restore my hope, God.
Amen.
