Sometimes growth looks like recognizing when something is not choosing you — and having the courage to stop choosing it in return. 

God,

There are things I’ve been reaching for that have not been reaching back — people, outcomes, and paths I’ve tried to hold onto even when they have not held me the same way.

Part of me keeps hoping it will change.

Today, I bring that attachment to you.

Give me the clarity to see what is not choosing me, even when I want it to. Give me the strength to stop pursuing what does not meet me with the same intention. And give me the peace to walk away without needing one more sign, one more conversation, or one more chance.

If something is not aligned with the life you are leading me into, loosen my grip on it. Replace the need to chase with the confidence to receive what is meant for me.

God, I don’t want to keep investing my heart where there is no return. Teach me to trust that what is truly for me will not require me to prove, convince, or chase.
