You don’t need to know everything September will hold before you can feel hopeful about it. Let this be the month you spend less time trying to predict what happens next and more time trusting that wherever life takes you, God will already be there.
God,
As I step into a new month, I place it in your hands before I try to carry it on my own. You already know every conversation, every opportunity, every disappointment, every unexpected joy, and every answered prayer that lies ahead. Nothing about this month is a surprise to you.
Help me trust you with what I cannot see. Keep me from trying to control every outcome or rushing ahead of your timing. When doors open, give me the wisdom to walk through the right ones.
When doors close, give me the peace to believe you are protecting me from what isn’t meant for me. I pray that this month draws me closer to you. Grow my faith, strengthen my heart, and remind me each day that I never walk into anything alone. Whatever this month holds, let me meet it with confidence, knowing you have already gone before me.
I trust you with this new month, God. Lead me where you want me to go, and help me become who you are calling me to be.
