Our sins and past mistakes can sometimes linger in our minds, especially in moments when guilt quietly resurfaces or when we start to doubt ourselves. The past doesn’t have to define us anymore, and learning to fully accept God’s forgiveness can help us also extend that same grace to others. Pray this with me.

Dear God,

Thank you for your complete removal of all of my sins and for forgiving me wholly. I know that there are specific areas of my life that I need your forgiveness for, that I know you will provide, but I also want to ask for your help in accepting the totality of your forgiveness. Help me to feel worthy of it.

I pray that in receiving your true forgiveness, I can extend similar complete forgiveness to others and stop retrieving what you have already removed. Help me to live in that reality and not in the shame of my past. Thank you for the freedom you are giving me through your infinite grace.
