When we walk through life unsure of the next step, it’s so tempting to reach for things that offer a quick fix of happiness but don’t really last. Just take a breath and remember that God is already guiding you toward a much deeper, steadier joy. Join me in this prayer.

Dear God,

Thank you for faithfully guiding me on my unique life’s path. I ask for your help to walk more confidently in the way you’ve revealed. Heighten my awareness of your presence, so that I seek joy through you rather than in places that offer only temporary satisfaction. Strengthen my faith, especially in moments when I don’t understand the path before me. Thank you for making known to me the path of life and for the fullness of joy found only in your presence.
