Before August Ends, Hear This From God

Before August ends, give yourself credit for the person this month asked you to become. You may not have received every answer you wanted, but you are leaving this month with something you didn’t have when you entered it: a stronger version of you.

New Voicemail From God — 11:58 PM

“Before August ends, I want to tell you something.

I’m proud of you.

You’ve grown in ways you haven’t fully recognized yet

Jacqueline Whitney

I know you’ve spent this month wondering whether enough was changing. You’ve looked at the prayers that are still unanswered, the doors that are still closed, and the parts of your life that still feel unfinished. It’s easy to overlook your own growth when you’re focused on everything you wish looked different.

I’ve been watching much more closely. I’ve seen the ways you’ve trusted me when it would’ve been easier not to. I’ve seen the courage it took to keep showing up, to keep believing, and to keep choosing hope on the days it felt fragile. None of it has been small to me.

As September begins, don’t walk into it believing you’re the same person who walked into August, because you aren’t. You’ve grown in ways you haven’t fully recognized yet, and that growth is going to carry you into what’s next. Walk into September with an open heart.

I’ll be there, just as I have been every step of the way.”
