Don’t Look Back

Letting go isn’t about pretending the past didn’t matter. It mattered because it shaped you. But it doesn’t get to decide where you’re going next. There are things God removes not to punish you, but to protect the future he is preparing for you. And when you feel tempted to revisit what once felt familiar, remember this: familiarity is not the same as alignment. Growth often requires trust — not certainty. Keep walking forward. Grace meets you there.

Don’t look back at what God already freed you from. Not the job. Not the relationship. Not the friendship. Not the old version of you that survived something you were never meant to stay in. If God moved you forward, it’s because there was nothing behind you worth returning to.
