God Heard The Thoughts You Never Said Out Loud

For anyone who needed to hear this tonight.

God overheard your thoughts at 2am…

The ones you didn’t say out loud because you were too exhausted to explain them anymore.

The pressure you carry to hold yourself together even when you feel like you’re unraveling inside.

– Jacqueline Whitney

The fear that maybe nothing is going to change. The worry that you’re falling behind while everyone else seems to be moving forward. The thoughts that ask, “What if this is all my life is ever going to be?”

He heard the way your mind kept searching for answers long after the world went quiet. He heard the sadness beneath your overthinking. The disappointment you keep trying to make peace with. The pressure you carry to hold yourself together even when you feel like you’re unraveling inside.

And even then, he stayed close.

God isn’t frustrated by your fear. God is not asking you to have everything figured out tonight. He is asking you to remember that you do not carry your future alone. What feels uncertain to you is still fully seen by him. And even in this moment — the anxious, restless, lonely moment you thought no one noticed, God is still working on your behalf.
