God Is Asking You To Trust What You Already Know

Maybe the question isn’t whether you’ll regret letting them go. Maybe it’s how much longer you’ll regret abandoning what you already know just to keep them. Trust the part of you that knows this isn’t the love you’re meant to keep fighting for.

You: I don’t know if I can let them go

God: I know. That’s why I’m asking you to.

You: But what if I regret it?

God: What if you don’t? What if six months from now you look back and can’t believe you almost stayed?

The life I have for you can’t fit someone who makes you feel like this

Jacqueline Whitney

You: It’s not that simple

God: It is, actually. You’re just making it complicated because letting go means admitting it’s over. And admitting it’s over means facing what you’ve been avoiding — that you already know this isn’t it.

You: So I’m supposed to just walk away, God?

God: You’re supposed to stop holding onto someone I’m trying to remove from your path. You’re afraid of letting go, but I’m afraid of what happens if you don’t. The life I have for you can’t fit someone who makes you feel like this. Let go. I’ll catch you.
