You’ve been apologizing for still being sad. Quietly wondering why you can’t just move on already.
But grief doesn’t run on anyone else’s timeline — and God was never in a rush for yours.
The depth of your grief is simply proof of how deeply you loved,

God: You are apologizing for your grief again.
You: I just feel like I should be over this by now. Everyone else has moved on, and I’m still here crying about the same ending. I feel like an emotional burden.
God: Who told you that your healing had a strict deadline?
You: No one explicitly said it. I just look around and feel so heavy compared to everyone else. I’m tired of feeling this way.
God: You are comparing your internal landscape to other people’s edited exteriors. The depth of your grief is simply proof of how deeply you loved, and that love was never a mistake.

You: But it feels like it’s taking forever.
God: It is taking exactly as long as it needs to take. I am not rushing you. I am not sitting here checking the clock waiting for you to be happy again. I am entirely content to sit with you in this heavy space for as long as your heart needs to process it. You can stop apologizing to me for being human.
