Sometimes the greatest blessing God is preparing is so much bigger than the one you’ve been praying for that he has to grow your faith before he reveals it.
Angel: You seem excited.
God: I am.
Angel: Why?
God: Because she has no idea what I’m about to bless her with.
Every disappointment has been leading her toward something she couldn’t have received any sooner

Angel: Is it what she’s been praying for?
God: Some of it.
Angel: Some?
God: She thinks she’s been praying for one answer. I’ve been preparing an entire new season. There are prayers she’s forgotten, dreams she buried, and hopes she stopped speaking out loud because she thought too much time had passed. I haven’t forgotten any of them.
Angel: She still worries she’s falling behind.
God: That’s because she can only see where she is. I can see where she’s going. Every delay, every closed door, every disappointment has been leading her toward something she couldn’t have received any sooner.

Angel: She has no idea, does she?
God: Not yet. But that’s part of what makes this so beautiful. She’s still thanking me for what she can see, while I’m smiling because I know what’s about to surprise her.
