One day you’ll stop wishing you could go back. You’ll realize you were always meant to become her.
Angel: She’s not who she used to be.
God: I know. That’s the whole point.
Angel: She keeps mourning the old version.
God: She thinks losing her is loss. She doesn’t realize the old version couldn’t have carried what I’m about to give her.
She’s going to fall in love with who she’s becoming

Angel: Will she stop grieving her?
God: Eventually. When she starts to see who’s emerging in her place. The one who trusts her gut. The one who doesn’t shrink. The one who chooses peace over performance. She’s going to fall in love with who she’s becoming. She just has to grieve who she was first.

Angel: Should we help her see it faster?
God: No. She has to grow into it. But we’ll keep sending signs. We’ll keep pointing to the small moments. And one day she’ll wake up and realize the woman she was afraid she was losing is exactly the woman she was supposed to outgrow.
