God: You’re so quick to notice your failures, your delays, the ways you think you’ve fallen short. You keep introducing yourself by your regrets, while I keep calling you by your name.
You: I just don’t want to fool myself.
God: Seeing yourself with grace isn’t foolish. It’s seeing yourself more the way I do. I know every mistake you’ve made, every prayer you’ve struggled to believe, every moment you’ve questioned your worth. And I have never loved you less because of any of it.
