How To Draw Closer To God In February

Peace is often how God gets your attention.

  • Start the day by remembering you don’t have to do it alone.
  • Talk to God the way you’d talk to someone you trust – honest and unfiltered.
  • Spend a few quiet minutes with God before the day gets loud.
  • Read scripture without trying to “learn something.” Just notice what stays with you.
  • Let go of the pressure to feel spiritual all the time. Showing up is enough.
  • Invite God into the normal parts of your day, not just the serious ones.
  • Pay attention to what settles your spirit – peace is often how
    God gets your attention.
  • Rest without explaining yourself. You don’t have to earn it.
  • Tell God what you’re tired of carrying. He already knows.
  • End the day by placing everything back in his hands, even the things that didn’t make sense.
