The Hope God Won’t Let You Lose

No matter how many times you’ve tried to lower your expectations, convince yourself not to care, or stop believing, something inside you keeps looking forward. Maybe that’s because God isn’t finished writing this chapter yet

Angel 1: Have you seen the life she’s growing toward?

Angel 2: I’ve seen pieces of it. It looks like everything she’s been hoping for, even on the days she thought she was being unrealistic.

She’s closer than she knows.

– Jacqueline Whitney

Angel 1: What’s in it?

Angel 2: The love she stopped letting herself imagine. The friendships that feel like rest. The work that fits who she actually is. The version of her life where she’s not bracing all the time. Where rest doesn’t come with guilt. Where joy doesn’t come with caveats.

Angel 1: She doesn’t believe it’s coming.

Angel 2: She does, somewhere underneath the doubt. That’s why she keeps going. Even when she says she’s given up, she hasn’t. The hope keeps showing up no matter how many times she tries to bury it.

Angel 1: That’s because we put it there.

Angel 2: And we keep refilling it. Every time she gets close to losing it, we send her something small. A moment that reminds her not to stop believing yet.

Angel 1: She’s closer than she knows.

Angel 2: She is. The life she’s growing toward isn’t far. She just hasn’t crossed the threshold into it yet.
