I am placing April in your hands, God. 

God,

As I step into this month, I am placing every day of April in your hands. You know what I am carrying, what I am hoping for, and what I am still healing from. Cover my mind with your peace, cover my home with your safety, and cover my heart with your steadiness Let your presence go before me in every place I walk into, and guard me from anything that is not meant for me.

Protect the people I love, God. Guide our decisions. Keep our spirits gentle and our hearts aligned with you. If anything tries to disrupt our peace, whether it is fear, or confusion, or exhaustion, or uncertainty — let your protection root, let your protection outshine it. Let this month be held, not hurried. Covered, not chaotic. And may every step I take be wrapped in your grace.
