Miracles are captivating and rare. They are occurrences that indicate a supernatural presence in our world that is guiding us daily and occasionally interfering to help us on the right path. But did you know there are five types of miracles? Yes, there are five different ways supernatural beings can touch our lives known as creational miracles, sustaining miracles, providential miracles, predictive miracles, and suspension miracles.
- Creational Miracles – These miracles are considered divine acts that bring things to life and forge fresh creation. The most prominent example of a creational miracle in Christian life is when God created earth and mankind.
- Sustaining Miracles – Sustaining miracles are miracles that aid humans in their ongoing life; helping them to gain strength and thrive on earth.
- Providential Miracles – These miracles are linked with timeliness and coincidence. For example, you’ve been hoping, praying, manifesting that you get a job you interviewed for, and then minutes later, you get a call from the company with an offer. These miracles are so timely, it feels as if a supernatural being heard us and granted our hopes in that exact moment.
- Predictive Miracles – Predictive miracles stem from a claim that was eventually fulfilled but cannot just be explained by hard work or luck. A hyperbolized example would be a stranger on the street telling you to pick certain numbers because they’ll win the lottery. So you go and buy a ticket with those numbers and you actually win the lottery.
- Suspension Miracles – These miracles are arguably the hardest to manifest, witness, or experience because they are linked to observable acts. An example of a suspension miracle in the Bible is when Jesus healed the paralyzed man as others witnessed.
Miracles are not something we can work for and create on our own. They require divine intervention by some power we are supernaturally connected to. However, we can manifest miracles by keeping our hopes in our heart, journaling about them, affirming their presence in our day-to-day, and practicing the Law of Attraction.
