The Waiting Wasn’t Wasted For What You Prayed For

Waiting can feel like nothing is happening—like you’re stuck, overlooked, or falling behind. But growth doesn’t always look loud or obvious. Sometimes, the biggest changes happen quietly, in who you’re becoming along the way. And when the next door opens, you’ll realize the waiting wasn’t empty—it was getting you ready.

God: She’s ready for the next level.

Angel: Are you sure? She still feels weak. She still doubts herself.

God: That’s because she’s measuring her readiness by how she feels, not by who she’s become. She doesn’t see what I see. She doesn’t realize how much she’s grown.

Angel: What has changed?

God: Everything. She sets boundaries now without apologizing. She walks away from what doesn’t serve her. She trusts her intuition. She chooses her peace over people’s approval. She’s not the same person who started this season.

Angel: So what happens now?

God: Now I elevate her. The doors I’ve been holding closed are about to open. The opportunities I’ve been preparing are about to present themselves. The people meant for this next level are about to show up. She’s been faithful in the small things — now I’m trusting her with more.

Angel: She’s going to be surprised.

God: She has no idea what’s coming. But she’s ready. And when it arrives, she’s going to finally see that the wait was worth it.
