You keep looking at what didn’t last and calling it a loss. God keeps looking at who you became because of it and calling it growth.

Angel 1: She thinks letting go means she failed.

Angel 2: 1 know.

Angel 1: She keeps looking at the ending and using it as evidence that she made a wrong turn somewhere.

Angel 2: But the chapter changed her.

The version of it that was too small for who she was becoming.

Angel 1: That growth often arrives disguised as disappointment.

Angel 2: She wanted the chapter to become her future.

Angel 2: That’s hard to see while you’re still grieving.

Angel 1: It is. But one day she’s going to look back and realize she wasn’t losing her future.

Angel 2: What was she losing?
