When God’s Rejection Is Actually Redirection To Something Better

Sometimes what feels like a painful ending is quietly making space for a better beginning. In moments of heartbreak, it’s easy to believe something meaningful has been taken away. But often, we’re being released from situations we couldn’t let go of ourselves—attachments built on hope, potential, and illusion rather than truth. This reflection explores the idea that loss isn’t always punishment; sometimes, it’s protection, redirection, and the first step toward what truly belongs to us.

Angel: She’s devastated. Why did this loss have to happen?

God: Because she wouldn’t have left on her own. She was so attached to what it could be that she couldn’t see what it actually was.

This loss is making room for what she’s actually been praying for.

Angel: But she loved them.

God: She loved the potential. She loved the idea. She loved who they were becoming in her mind. But the reality was hurting her, and she kept making excuses for it.

Angel: So you took it away?

God: I removed what was keeping her from what’s actually hers. That relationship, that job, that season — it served its purpose. It taught her what she needed to learn. But if she stayed any longer, it would’ve broken her.

Angel: Will she understand?

God: Eventually. Right now she thinks I took something from her. But one day she’ll realize I freed her from something that was holding her back. This loss is making room for what she’s actually been praying for. She just can’t see it yet.
