You: Are you awake?
God: I never left.
You: I don’t even know what I’m asking for tonight.
God: You don’t have to know. I’m here anyway.

You: Will you sit with me until I fall asleep?
God: I’ve been sitting with you the entire time. I’ll be here when you finally rest. And I’ll be here when you wake up.
