You Are About To Be So Blessed

When God removes something you still want, it doesn’t feel like protection — it feels like loss. It feels like unanswered prayer and closed doors and being denied the very thing you’ve been holding onto. But what if the removal is the blessing? What if he can see what you can’t yet? This is about trusting the things God takes before you understand why.

Angel: Why are you removing things she still wants?

God: Because what she wants and what’s good for her aren’t always the same.

what I’m bringing is so much better than what I’m removing.

Angel: But she’s confused. She doesn’t understand why this is being taken from her.

God: I know. From where she’s standing, it looks like loss. It looks like I’m withholding from her. It looks like I’m denying her the very thing she’s been praying for.

Angel: But you’re not?

God: I’m not. I’m protecting her from a future I can see and she can’t. What she wants right now would slow her down. It would attach her to something she’d outgrow in a year. It would prevent her from receiving something better that’s already on the way.

Angel: Will she understand?

God: Eventually. There’s going to come a day when she looks back at this moment and sees clearly what I was protecting her from. She’ll thank me for the door I closed even though she begged me to keep it open. She’ll see that what she thought was rejection was actually redirection.

Angel: And until then?

God: Until then, she trusts. She grieves what she thought she wanted. And she stays open to what I’m bringing instead. Because what I’m bringing is so much better than what I’m removing. She just can’t see it yet.
